The Winter 2016 W by Worth Collection is here, and it is being celebrated with a big open house party! The open house will take place Thursday, October 6th from 5pm-8pm at the Lanny Barnard Gallery at Trolley Square. If you can’t make it to the open house, but would like to see the collection, make an appointment to be styled by the always stylish Bob Haedt, between October 5-13. W by Worth is offering a holiday incentive of $50 off a purchase of $200 or more, so get yourself in gear for all those holiday parties!
The Fall 2016 W by Worth collection is out, and in W by Worth fashion, it is upscale, timeless, and elegant. The color palette is a sophisticated light blue, gray, black, and white with some splashes of red, blue, and purple. There are lots of fun belted jackets, sweaters, skirts, and dresses in luxurious materials, with stunning textures. Make an appointment to be styled by the fabulous Bob Haedt, who will be showing these looks August 11-18 at Trolley Square.
It looks like gray is here to stay, and it’s fun to see the hundreds, if not thousands of color variations coming out of this gray and modern era. Fashion aside, I especially love the color pairings I have seen in interiors lately, which use gray as a backdrop to bring in other colors like yellow, pink, aqua, and even emerald green! I think we are going to continue to see many shades of gray in the coming years, and that makes me happy, because gray is a fantastic neutral base color that can be easily built upon and dressed up.
Spring has arrived, and it’s time to get out there and smell the roses. Metaphorical roses that is; the real roses don’t seem quite ready yet. This time of year means rotating your wardrobe and getting out the fun summer clothes that have been buried. I, personally, have been excited to bring this super chic short-sleeve Kate Spade sweater back into the mix. Glamming up a classic top like this with some silver accents creates a timeless style that easily transitions from a daytime look to an evening look.
