High-Rise Downtown Belvedere Condo For Rent

Price: $1,050/month

Property Details: 400 square feet | 1 bedroom | 1 bathroom

Bri’s Perspective: The Belvedere is a highly desirable and prestigious building. It is equivalent to a New York style high-rise condo, but is right in the very heart of downtown Salt Lake City. The building is located next to O.C. Tanner, the Eagle Gate, City Creek, Harmons Grocery, TRAX, a wide variety of restaurants and shopping, and is just blocks away from the State Capitol. The Belvedere was built in 1919, and was originally a hotel that was meant for long-term stays. It has the special designation of being on the National Register of Historic Places, and was converted into condo units in 1978. Continue Reading

Berkshire Hathaway Utah Properties | Exciting Change

Moving to a new real estate brokerage during the holiday season was a gutsy move, but I’m really excited to tell you all about my recent change to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Utah Properties. I have many great friends and colleagues who have worked for Berkshire Hathaway (previously Prudential) for decades, and always sung its praises, but I didn’t realize the full extent of what it was actually like there until I took a tour of the office and met everyone. I was impressed, and absolutely blown away! Continue Reading

We looked at hardwood, bamboo, vinyl, and cork flooring, and decided on Marazzi’s Harmony Note porcelain tile. I especially love wood-look porcelain tile, because you can have the look of wood, with the toughness and resiliency of tile, which was important in this case, because of the large Collie and cat that tear around the house. Wassily Chair by Marcel Breuer | Friday Finds

The Wassily Chair is one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in. The belted leather cushions in all the right places, and allows you to sink into the chair, but also be supported. My first experience with the Wassily Chair occurred at a lake house that my (very large, but not by Utah standards) family rented for an epic weekend to celebrate my Grandma’s birthday. The home was built by a famous Chicago architect, and in true architect fashion, he had all the classic chairs you can imagine, including a cowhide Le Corbusier LC4 Chaise Lounge. Continue Reading
